I raise and breed skunks- stripped, spotted, and albinos. They are great pets when you get their musk sacs removed(located in their anus) You may want to try livepets.com or type it in Google search on your computer. some states require you have an exotic pet license, but these are easy to obtain.
Also find a local vet near you that is prepared to treat one- my vet is so great and does the deskunking and all the shots mine need. I don't like spaying or neutering because they are wild tamed animals and their bodies aren't really use to having those hormones removed.

I used to have one years ago. Not the vets won't descent, spay or neuter a skunk cause of rabies.

They are geneticially predisposed with a gene that could pop up gererations down the line and one little skunk will carry that gene on to future generations.

This is in New Mexico

puppy skunks are criminal to possess in each and every state different than CA, WA, Alaska and Hawaii...They make large pets, yet are very hard to shield. The fragrance glands of a skunk could be bumped off whilst they're babies so as that may no longer something to rigidity approximately. Skunks are captive bred in many states!

No, but they're so cute! I'd like one. To all you people who are saying that they smell bad, you can have the "stink" gland removed. I saw a woman on tv in Florida with 11 pet skunks.

In some places you need a special permit to keep them, but in other places you can get them from a pet store. Check with your local animal shelter to see if it's legal to just keep one, and if so, there should be a local breeder who has skunks.

No, but my 15 year old dog sort of smells like one if you give him table scraps.

I think skunks are considered "wild game" and can't be kept without special permits.
