T- mobile has great customer service and everything they're really reliable... no matter which line you pick for whatever reason don't pick Sprint it has the worst customer service ever...

I would suggest to survey your closest friends or the people you intend to talk the most, and get the same service so you don't use your anytime minutes.
Personally I got cingular for that reason and it is very reliable, i wouldn't be able to compare with other services, because this is my first cell phone, another advantage is the rollover minutes which I believe is an exclusive.
I don't have trouble finding spots to talk or with dropped calls. I would recommend cingular if you're leaning towards it.

I now live in Canada, but for 5 years I had T-mobile (through the Voicestream and Aerial eras) and I almost never had an issue. If you use all the Internet things and whatnot it may not be the best choice, but as far as coverage, rates an service I loved it. If I ever move back to the states I would go back to them.

Without any doubt in my mind, I recommend T-Mobile to all of my friends. I've had it for a couple of years now and I have NEVER had any trouble with service, payments or anything else.
