How soon should I expect my new nephew? She is 3 cent dilated and 60% efaced.

I'd say that the chances are good that you'll see your nephew before this weekend is out. Stripping the membranes doesn't always work to start labor and keep it going, but it seems her cervix is quite favorable and that things could go quickly.

There is really no way to tell. I was 4 cm for a month with my first and had my membranes stripped twice and i still went over due by 5 days. Everyone is different. Normally the doc says within 24 hrs of having your membranes stripped, but its not always the case. It will be soon tho. Congrats

In the next 3 weeks. Doctors won't let you go more than 42 wks.I know that's a dumb answer, but I know women who had their membranes stripped/scrapped at 37 wks, 38 wks, 39 wks, and 40 wks and it never helped. There's no real answer. Your nephew will be here when her body's ready. It could be in an hour or in 3 wks.

i'm incredibly now not particular. i attempted an enema, which didn't something, despite if i've got not had a membrane sweep. Wanna understand what placed me into not undemanding artwork? Nipple stimulation. I pinched the nipples repetitively for a couple of minutes, and my water broke and placed me into not undemanding artwork, not undemanding not undemanding artwork. I had my first son 3 hours later. it fairly is the day i used to be due. attempt that too just to assist. :-)

LMAO, i had that done with all three of mine. THe first and third still had to be induced after with pitocen (ist took 18hrs, 3rd took 6hours) the second one, i started havin contractions right away, but was still 9 hours till he made his appearance. Every delivary is different, just gonna have to wait and see. Best of luck for the delivary!!!

Tell her to have sex the sperm help with efface. Walk and take a bath and a nap. You can too, so you can be ready for your nephew, I pray he comes soon , Probably tonight latest in the morning.

OUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it can take a hour or it can take 4 days you just can't tell. I had it done with all 3 of my children and still had to be induced with 2.
