I just saw part of this case on tv about a vietnamese girl who shot her sister.
Some one on there said her boyfriend had been teaching her to use a gun and getting her over her fear of guns. then they said he had told her the gun she stupidly pointed at her sister was not loaded. If this is true then can he be charged for leading her to believe it was not loaded and causing the death of her sister?

Anyone with half a brain treats every gun like it is loaded until they have verified themselves that it is not. And even then you shouldn't get in a habit of waving one around.

The only time you point a gun at someone is when you are going to shoot them.

He should probably be at least partly to blame, but she pointed the gun and pulled the trigger.

She's probably already suffering enough, but there have to be legal consequences.

No, because she should have made sure it was unloaded. Ultimately she still made the decision to pull the trigger. At best depending on state law he can be charged as an accessory to murder.

She would have to be able to prove that he knew the gun was loaded and that could be difficult.

Sounds (if its USA) a basic low level manslaughter charge for either of them.. If it was in VietNam? I havent a clue.. different laws... You didnt mention ages either.. that makes a difference.
