My husband did a study on stress relief and found that strenuous exercise does more to relieve stress than anything else. Take up bike riding, walking or join a gym!

Find out what is stressing you and try to avoid or eliminate it, but since that isn't always an option, you should just do things you enjoy doing. If you like reading books, take an hour or two out of your day and curl up on the couch and read a book. If you like watching movies, watch a movie. Basically, find a hobby and do that hobby.
Another method, clear your mind and count to ten, you might have to do that several thousand times, but it would help. Whatever you decide to do, make sure the activity takes your mind off of what is stressing you, and whatever activity you decide on, don't let your stressor interfere with your activity.

when i get streesed and fed up. i give up. and i dont think im suicidal but i feel tired and i feel like going into a deep sleep and not waking up. I think this way because i want just to let go of all of my problems for a little bit. I think there is a point where everybody gets like this. but there are ways to prevent. try to do something u like. that will get u out of that mood. if u like dancing and singing, then dance and sing. look for postitive things to do. like i listen to postive music.(kirk franklin:looking for u) which helps. i go to sleep and when i wake up i get up and organize my problems and decide what to do.

get a massage maybe at a spa or maybe from a loved one, don't forget to breath. find time to pamper yourself or doing something you love. meditate. take some time and go on a walk by yourself (somewhere safe though) where it is quiet and peaceful. maybe you could do some yoga. put your priorities in order and be happy for everyday and all that you have. forget about what is stressing you out atleast temporarily. your mind never gets to rest even when you are dreaming and sleeping so i really suggest meditating.

Exercise always helps. Go out for a walk after work or go to a gym if you can, take a class or work your frustrations out on the treadmill or cross trainer.

You'll benefit your body & your mind.
