LOL. I think it's just because of that reason that he decided to take on a new role because people refer to him as "Harry Potter" rather than his real name, Daniel Ratcliffe. I think he doesn't want to be typcasted so that's why he's taking the role of the nude boy in that horse play. I mean, this is the 21st century, people show nude scenes in movies ALL the time, so why not? There have been so many contraversial roles that celebrities have taken in the past and it's made them huge (i.e, Julia Roberts as the prostitute in Pretty Woman. That was her breakout role.) Anyways, he looks like he worked out quite a bit since the last Harry Potter movie and he's not bad looking for a 17, 18 year old boy.

The photos are not of Harry Potter, they are of Daniel Radcliffe. But I don't see what the big deal is. Most of the adult cast and some of the younger (Fleur) have done nude scenes in various movies/theatre. The only reason this is getting such attention is because of who Daniel plays in a series. Let the guy grow up. The only people who seem to be complaining are parents who didn't/don't want to monitor their children and realize that the play is mature subject matter.

TOO MANY PEOPLE are judging the poor kid just because he wants to break out of a role. As he has stated himself, he is doing this because he does NOT want people to forever see him as Harry Potter, even though for many people it is already too late. In order for an actor to be a GOOD actor, they must be able to branch out and do many different kinds of roles, not just be locked away in one mindset.
Look at what happened to Mr. Greenjeans from the old "Captain Kangaroo Show" - he committed SUICIDE because he was never able to get another job - after 20 years everyone saw him as nothing but Mr. Greenjeans....

Well, he's not a kid anymore. He's grown up. It makes sense he would begin to take more adult roles. And it's not like he's Really Harry Potter.

Think he's doing the same thing Julie Andrews did so she wouldn't be typecast into kid movie roles. She went from Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music to showing off her breasts in SOB, dropping F-bombs and playing a transvestite in Victor/Victoria.

I thought he looked pale and scrawny. I was wondering why the news lady kept saying he had abs when really it just looked like he was sucking in his already skinny stomache. Over all ......naked harry potter = GROSS

by using fact those the place purely snapshots, they might circulate. the photos in dumbledore's workplace are enchanted on purpose, like a replica of their sole have been given positioned into the photograph so it could communicate and picture and supply the present headmaster suggestion and help. understand?

I've seen those pictures of Daniel Radcliffe. I heard he worked out a lot to look that good.

ummmm right. Jk rowling doesnt really like the idea and i am ok with it he is almost a grown up but this could mess up his carrer a little
