Im doing my project on the battle of thermopylae and Im wondering if any of you folken out there have any advice or ideas about what I can do?

Do a report, telling about what happened. Then for a visual aid you could make a diagram of the battle, or if you have great ambition you could make a modal and you could show how each side attacked and such. Ex: use wood as a base, boxes covered in felt for mountains, im sure there are little army men that look like roman soldiers and you could make flages for each side. This is a good idea if you have time, my friend and I made a nazi death camp and we recieved 125 points. Good luck tho!

I'd concentrate on the character of Leonidas. Why did he make his suicidal stand? Spartan machismo? Patriotism? Pan-Hellenism?

You could compare/contrast him to other historic heroic figures who died in battle, such as Lord Nelson
