Always remember, have 2-3 females to 1 male!

Really this depends on the type of fish. Fresh water fish and Chichlids will normally breed if you raise the temprature about 4 degrees, but you must know for sure that these fish are male and female. Most fresh water fish are easy to tell, but Chichlids are sometimes very difficult to tell. Fresh water fish carry the babies in their stomich and Chichlids make small bubbles in their mouth, lay the eggs in them, and carry them in the mouth until they hatch.

If you have goldfish, they will normally only breed in the spring. They will get little freckles under their back fins, but again, telling a male from a female in gloldfish is difficult. Goldfish make a nest of bubbles at the top corner of a fish tank and place their eggs in them. The babies will hatch out of the eggs directly into the tank.

If you want babies i recommend that you buy already pregnant mollies. Or if you want to breed them try buying lots of mollies. They are really good breeders. You should have some materials ready like the small plastic seperating tank. Its a small box thing that goes in your aquarium and keeps the babies from being eaten when they are born. When you see the mom's belly gettin big you should put her in the tank then take her out when she has given birth.

I have guppies, and they produce like rabbits. I've had to get another tank because of so many babies. Good luck ~~~

Try playing some romantic music like Marvin Gaye, or Barry White. Baby fish will be populating in no time!

You can't really make them. Just make their environment as close to natural as possible and keep them as healthy as possible and hope for the best.

Good luck
