I like to workout as frequent as I can so with several days being on the period I want to keep my routine going, so is it safe to workout while on it, or should I just wait till it stops. I didn't know if it'd cause something to be wrong in the future or what?

It is perfectly ok to work out while you're on your period. Just try to not to overdue it the first couple of days of your period. Only because your body tends to be a little more tired. But nothing will happen. Actually keeping active may shorten your cycle. It could make your periods lighter, so if this happens don't be surprised.

YES, it's ok to workout while you are on your period.

If you're not feeling uncomfortable or not having any cramps, you're still able to continue your workout as usual. However, it's advisable that you don't workout too vigourous because during your period, it's best not to tire your body. I advice you to go easier, like jogging.

It is perfectly safe to exercise while on your period. It can even help alleviate cramps sometimes. I work out all the time during my period, I play three sports and they never wait for my period to end, and I've never had any adverse affects. I've been doing this for about seven years, so I'm pretty sure it is safe to say it shouldn't injure you at all.

Yes, it is safe. You may feel bloated and uncomfortable at first, but I found that over time, it helps combat the icky feeling we all get during this time of the month. I just wear my comfy gym clothes when I feel like a big water balloon.

Yes, of course. Actually if I workout on the day I start even when I don't feel like it then my period seems to be lighter. I don't feel so bad either.

Of course not. It is safe to do everything on your period. Old wives tales--used to be that you didn't go out of the house for a week while you had it. What a crock!

My mom tells me that its not safe...so I workout after like the 3rd or 4th day or something...just to stay safe, if you really wanna workout, then just walk, don't overwork your self.

It's perfectly safe... in fact, exercise helps cure cramps! If you are more prone to faintness while on your period, take it easier than normal, but apart from that, have fun.

It is perfectly safe!

And you CANNOT get an infection from sweat, for crying out loud.
