Could anyone do an analysis of the poem Even Such Is Time by Sir Walter Raleigh?

Even such is time, that takes on trust
Our youth, our joys, our all we have,
And pays us but with earth and dust ;

I do not know the date of this poem but he wrote extensively and passionately about his cousin Sir R. Grenville, whose death during his dealings with the Spanish, disturbed him so much.
