Both had easy messages of discarding the complicated dogmas of their parent's faith and specializing in truely being a greater individual. Both had persons coming after them that re-complexified what they stated. Unluckily, their similarities are lost on most brand new Christians who view their own dogma as something that need to be given their timeless loyalty, versus a reasoned algorithm that ought to make experience (and that i best factor to Christians when you consider that Buddhists do not tend to say matters like "there is not any similarity").
