It's a Leftist organization. Why is anybody surprised. Didn't they give, or nominate Koffi Annan last time? Ronald Reagan more or less ended the Cold War. Was he ever considered? No. But Jimmy Carter won the prize. Go figure.

Well, Big Gay Al and his Big Gay Boat Ride have appeared in other movies before, but I don't think any of those were nominated for Peace Prizes.
I think you should be nominated for a peace prize. I think everyone who responds tto this question deserves a peace prize. Most importantly, my boss deserves a peace prize because he is sitting peacefully behind his desk right now and knows I'm posting this on company equipment and on company time, but doesn't disrupt my peace because he's playing solitaire.
Hell, you could even go so far as to say that Anna Nicole Smith could get a posthumous peace prize because her antics won't be hogging the press and disrupting people's lives anymore.
Yes, the Peace Prize is a little overrated, I would say.

What does environment have to do with peace? Just because your nominated doesn't mean you get it. Wasn't Rush Limbaugh or how ever you spell it, nominated? If they gave it to him, it would lower the status of the Peace Prize to that of a parking ticket.

I couldn't think of anyone more deserving.
When they handed a Nobel Prize to Carter, they pretty much devalued the stature of the award. It now has the equivalent status as a High School GED.

His views on global warming are far-fetched and wrong just 6 years ago they were talking about another ice age so I think he is the most undeserving lying and for lack of a better word punk ever to be even nominated for the award and I know my answer is not politically correct and is opinionated but amendment one says I get to so whatever.

We all knew the Nobel Peace Prize was a political farce anyway, so it really doesn't change my opinon of the Peace Prize one bit.
