I don't know if he'd be a good president or not, but I do know of over 3000 families whose children would still be alive had he been elected.

Normally, vice presidents don't make good presidents.

You'll remember that Bush Sr. was Reagan's vice president and had some obvious weaknesses. Reagan, Clinton, and Bush jr. all have a few things in common, they were all governors prior to running for president, they were all leaders of much higher caliber, and they were all elected to a second term.

With Gore, we would have had another weak VP elected mostly on the merits of the president he served.

(Ford, who was Nixon's VP, was also a weak candidate. He was great for bringing the country back together, but as a leader he didn't show a lot of promise.)

Yes, I do. He is caring and I am certain the war in Iraq never would have been. I wasn't all that crazy for him before but really didn't like Bush (I just knew he'd be trouble and I was right). Now I like Gore a lot. He is trying to improve the world and I like him for that.

particular. If he in basic terms served one term as president. A 2 term president would possibly not run for vice chairman through fact he could substitute into president in an instantaneous and which could be unlawful. I doubt any president might decide to alter into vice chairman besides. Bush (I) and Carter could run for president or vice chairman, yet Clinton, George W. Bush, and Obama may be prohibited by the form.

At least Al Gore stands for saving life, not taking it. He would have made a great president.
