If I had a "second chance" to marry the same man, I would definitely choose another dress! First marriage at 17 failed and when I remarried I caved in to family pressure about "not being entitled" to wear white. I wore a light green bridesmaid-type dress and regret it all the time.As we didn't live together prior to wedding and had sex after enaggement and only weeks prior to wedding, I was more "like a virgin" than most girls today! White is now considered to be just a "wedding colour" so I would most definitely get on the shopping trail and select something that would show I was a happy bride. By the way, we're celebrating our 35th this March!!

My gown was beautiful but the marriage didn't last, so no. I was young when I chose my gown. This time I would chose something more simple. It wouldn't look like a wedding gown, just a nice dress that flattered me.

Yes,I would. Some women renew their marriage vows again and wear the same wedding gown for the second time.

My wedding gown was a medieval-style brocade dress; I wear it regularly nowadays to Renaissance re-enactment events. And my husband wears his "wedding" doublet and slops.

I think the better question is if someone would wear their wedding gown again if they could still fit into it. :)

All in good humor, girls. All in good humor.

What? Do you mean wear it during a marriage to another man? For any reason under no circumstance would I rewear my wedding dress unless it was to the same man.

Absolutly! In fact I wear the veil around the house from time to time. I always want to remember how special and loved I felt that day!

no. I bought mine a year before the big day and by the time it came, I didn't even like it anymore. Good thing I got it on sale!
