In the second round of my fantasy baseball draft should I chose Chase Utley or Travis Hafner? I had Hafner last year and i really like his power, but Utley is the only elite second basemen

If it's a Yahoo league you need to go with Utley.

Hafner's only eligibility last year in Yahoo was as a DH, which meant the only place you could stick him in the lineup was at Utility.

Plus now that Soriano is losing his 2B eligibility, that makes Utley THE elite 2B. Sure there are guys like Weeks, Cano, Roberts and Lugo who are all going to be eligible and will put up good numbers...but how many of them are batting in front of Ryan Howard??

Good luck.

Utley - no question. He contributes to more categories than Hafner and that doesn't even include the positional scarcity.

I'm not sure these guys will still be around if you are a late pick in round 2 if you are in a 12 team league.

go for utley....the phils offense stands to get better and utley's potential is endless. the only category hafner has over utley is homers. avg and rbi will be similar, but utley will score more runs and steal more bases.

Utley is the real deal in Fantasy! He has it all covered, avg, hr, rbi, and sb. There are plenty of OF available!
