You could watch "The Young Person's Guide to Becoming a Rock Star", pretty sure Noel tells the lead character how to pay the song in one of those episodes! Or you could mess around till you find your own strumming pattern- its not just the strum thats important its also which strings you are hitting, for example on the first chord you want to hit the bass strings and then move to the treble. Think of strumming as more of an art than a formula and if you are learning to play acoustic songs you have to use a natural strumming pattern otherwise it doesn't sound natural, which is the whole point of playing acoustic. I don't think you'll ever get it right if you simply copy other people, so just play the chords loosely and you should get it right. Also be careful with wonderwall- most tabs will give you the chords Em7, G, Dsus4, A7sus4, but its actually played with a capo on the second fret. The actual chords are F#m7, A, Esus4 and B#7sus4.
