if he were to return to the phins next year he would make a huge impact, just like he did in nick saban's 1st season as head coach when he sat out 4 games and still rushed for 750 yards while splitting carries with ronnie brown. and while playing in the cfl this past season (before breaking his arm) was helping the toronto argonauts win games in the pass-happy cfl with the use of his speed and brute running force.

it all comes down to whether cam cameron wants to put up with the headache of having to worry about trusting him, and losing him to another failed drug test. word is ricky is happy in canada and wouldn't mind staying there, but as long as he's worth anything and the dolphins have the rights to him they will keep him or trade him... and myself being a dolphin fan, although still ticked about his retirement fiasco would like to see him back next year because it would be the best thing for this offense to have a good one-two punch at runningback

keep in mind he has still been subject to drug tests by the nfl at least 4 times a month every month. and there has been no word of him failing one yet.

go dolphins

I actually believe they'll give him a chance, because the NFL is very forgiving of thugs (Exhibit 1 Tank Johnson). He'll probably play as a back up next year, but nothing more. If you watched the Dolphins this year, Ronnie Brown is obviously their feature back, and the guy they'll build the franchise on. Williams will be lucky to get 10 carries per game.

He'll be back, though in a limited capacity. Perhaps with the Raiders, or maybe the Vikes. He didn't do anything to amaze me in Toronto. In fact, he was quite lack lustre. Lots of hype, but didn't deliver. He'll test positive again and end up playing ball in Europe by the 08 -09 season.

If Ricky Williams does come back, he most likely won't be starting. And knowing him, he probably will get another suspension for drug abuse. He could end up in a place that does running-back-by-committee (Houston, to name one) and have some decent stats but nothing better than that.

I don't see him back as a starter in Miami. They have to build thier team around thier back of the future Ronnie Brown. There may be other places where he could start though.

it is up to the coaching staff. He would be a back up. If not, surely some other team is in desperate need of a RB(Cleveland,Jets, Maybe even the Giants with Tiki gone.)

I don't believe the CFL tests for pot use, so he has little incentive to come back to the NFL and get suspended again. This BC Bud's for You!

I'm not sure he would start but he will be back. He owes too much money otherwise. As to the trade who would want him. One more failed test and boom game over.
