As far as liberal politicians and media personalities are concerned, their focus right now is to discredit the Administration in preparation for the 2008 presidential election. They are not concerned with answers that answer anything. They want answers that make Bush look bad in some way. They have succeeded in taking control of Congress, due in large part to a generous contribution of public opinion provided by incumbent and incompetent Republicans. Most of the media is assisting them (NYTimes, CNN, MSNBC, etc). Only Foxnews give the conservative point of view any comparable air time (and look at the criticism they get). CNN has gotten better since their ratings took a hit, but you'll never see parity on CNN since Ted Turner thinks George W. Bush has a direct lineage with Satan.
As far as individual liberals go, I've found a few that will actually have a discussion about issues. Most just subscribe to the above strategy, but a few will actually talk...and even stay civil.

Exactly .Especially when they're asked who they stand with :
their president or the terrorists ? Instead of an answer , they rag on the president . It's impossible for liberals to be realistic , even when right before their eyes- are statements from terrorists saying they are going to attack our nation . They deal with terrorism by giving aid & comfort to the enemy with idiot conspiracy theories about 9/11 & President Bush . Proof from every angle is out there about 9/11 ; about the criminal records of the Clinton's ; etc - yet when Hillary & Bill Clinton make wild false claims about a vast right wing conspiracy , every time they are exposed- liberals believe it rather that check out their record themselves .

I am liberal and I just answered your question. No, I do not agree with your statement at all. Liberals can be very civilized. Except, I noticed you voiced alot of opinions in your statement and did not really stay on point like most consevatives do. Like the statement "most liberals have a problem with this". Sounds like a personal opinion not really a question. Do you really want your question answered or are you trying to get your point across in the form of a question?

Not the ones I know, myself included. I also try to get to the point quicker than your question, and would disagree with your FACT. Being on the flip side, I would have a similar statement to say. Perhaps our views see the other as answering from a short list of putdowns, evasion or conversational bait and switch. I feel that I am solidly conversant on the issues from a fact-based viewpoint. But as long as we have opinions, our consensus will be different. Being different does not make the other's view irrational.

Yes, I often listen to talk radio and have heard several liberals basically dodge the actual question when they answer by turning it around in some sort of negative light against conservatives. I would love to here a single one actually answer a question instead of putting down conservatives.

i substitute into going to assert that it is not undemanding to respond to valid questions with all that whining they prepare..yet then I remembered that with babies of their "undesirable 2's"..while they whine and cry - a minimum of you be conscious of the place they stand ..not so , with liberals . they're on the two components of the fence in the past they're on opposite components of the fence - or not regardless of you in any respect . and then there is Al Gore..who ,while asked to take the ( bogus ) pledge that he asked of U.S. electorate..he persistently refused to respond to in any respect . The final liberal to run for president , John Kerry had an answer for each little thing..yet , regrettably , he reversed his place each and each time he controlled to have one . i've got come to the sorrowful end , that the respond on your question ..is undeniably NO !Legimate questions are out of the question while it includes getting solutions from liberals !

Well, I consider myself to be liberal and I don't think that my answers get away from the question. Maybe it's only the questions that pertain to Bush.

Even Hillary is a good example when asked about her experience dealing with evil men ruling the world, she resorted to a joke laughing and adding "my experience with bad men" and everyone laughed thinking about Bill.

That's what they do best. They try and bombard you with so much stupidity that it's not worth the effort to try and debate with them. Of course, unless you share their point of view they won't listen to rational educated responses anyway. They can't handle the truth.
