Not Likely, I'd say you are pretty safe. Sometimes, if you are workning yourself to hard you can spot a little, It is normal. I wish you the Best of Luck!

I don't think it's likely that anything has gone wrong. I had 3-4 light periods when I was pregnant last time....
With you, also due to the volume of blood around the vagina, it may have been a small blood vessel that broke and the blood came from that.
I had a miscarriage at 5 wks in 2002 and there was a lot of pain, cramping, mucous, blood and tissue that passed over 6 wks.

Please try not to worry too much as these things happen and have no effect on the pregnancy whatsoever..

Best wishes!
S

I think that you are fine. I think that as said a miscarriage would mean more blood, but there are missed miscarriages where the baby has passed away inside and you do not bleed until the hormone levels are really low. This is what happened to me and I had to go in weekly to get my hormone levels checked. I was about 3 months along at the time. There are always chances and it is best to be safe than sorry. Go to your Dr. and I am sure that they will give you all the answers better than any one of us can. Good luck!

I can't imagine a small drop of blood signifying a misscarriage. I have spotting since my 8th wk, I am now in my 14th. The baby is fine. I am sure the doctors will monitor you. I had also a small amt of blood at around the same time as you are. The doctor told me that it was implantation bleeding. If you are really worried ask your doctor, ask until you get some clear answers. I do know where you are coming from though, blood is alway scary.

I had that..it was nothing. I didnt even see the Dr. about it. But after about 2 days it stopped and later I read that expecially if you were on the pill or any kind of BC sometimes even after your pregnant your body will still try to immitate a period around the time your period would have come. Which was right on with when mine happened. But with a miscarriage there is alot of blood and alot of pain so i think you are fine just be sure to talk to your Dr. about it when you go tomorrow.

I think you are still ok. I had a similar experiance at 6 weeks. I had some pink spotting after I went to the washroom followed by cramping. I was told to go to the er by my ob/gyn office. After several hours and several tests, the pregnancy is fine. I am now 8 weeks and still all is good-hormone levels still climbing. No more spotting. Just take it easy for the next few days until you can see your doc. If you are really worried call the office and see what they say. good luck

More than likely it's not a miscarriage because I like someone said before I would think there would be alot more blood than that. When I was pregnant with my son I still got my last period that I was supposed to get but I bled for 1.5 days and it stopped and that's when I started to suspect I was pregnant because that's never happened to me before. My son is 5 now and he's healthy. I am now 17 weeks and i've seen a spot of blood before but I was told it was nothing and not to worry about it.

Bleeding like that is actually fairly common really early in pregnancy. I had some spotting at 9 weeks. It seemed like a lot--enough to fill a pad. Everything ended up ok. In fact, my baby boy was born on 12/12/06.

Spotting is pretty common. You did the right thing going to the Dr. If you really were miscarrying there would be a lot of bright red blood with clots in it and abdominal cramping.
