What kind of romantic, but not cheesy, gift/thing to do for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day? I can't be with him or take him to dinner or anything. Gift certificate isn't my style. I want it to be sorta special. Just any old gift like its his birthday or Christmas isn't romantic.

Basically what I'm doing is that I'm giving him a memory box with some stuff I put together for him. I also made him a really nice card with a heartfelt poem that I wrote. I made him a poem book with pictures I have taken as well. : } And don't forget the CD with random videos I took of us and a slideshow of pictures from the past 2 years. I'm doing all this stuff because Valentine's is our first anniversary. ♥

Well, I found this great website that has a lot of ideas that people sent in. A lot of great ideas... cheap, creative, sweet. So if you need other ideas, here you go: http://scripts.lovingyou.com/mdb/search....

It helped me come up with some ideas and stuff.
Check it out!

If he plays video games, how about a online game-date? Depending on your budget, you can get a free trial of most online games for 2, or a full game for him and a trial for you, or 2 full games and send him an invitation to meet you online somewhere.

If games are not his or your thing, you can always try a party game like isketch (http://www.isketch.net/) - send him an invitation with a time and url, a webcam/mic, a burned CD with free skype/im software, his favorite munchies.

For a protracted distance relationship, i might say flow purchase a card, and write something candy interior the cardboard. basically write how lots you like/love her, and what you sense approximately her. or basically write the hardship-unfastened; "Love you, and omit you." ultimate of success guy! wish each little thing seems nicely:)

Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 would be my choice. Or a nice picture blown up of you two together.
