There are about 200 artists who do a song called "Here We Go Again" according to allmusic.com, with genres ranging all over from punk, swing, rap, and R&B. Do you have any other details? Aretha Franklin did a song by that title. is that it?
do a search on www.allmusic.com and see if any of them look familiar, that's what i usually do.

Update: To the guy who responded with def leopard: the song you're talking about is "here i go again" as in "here i go again on my own" not "on our own" and it's by whitesnake, not def leopard. OH, and it doesn't have any african american women singing on it. way off.
