Did a quick search on yahoo... didn't find a single medical journal to confirm but lots of opinions... some people say a single use is 3 days... continued use takes longer. Daily use for over a year takes approximately 20 days. As for amniotic fluid, it's constantly being recycled, however only bit by bit... so regardless if your body has motabilized the cocaine it'll hang out in that fluid for quite some time longer.

I say 3 days but it maybe in the baby's system longer and you know since they test the babies now when they are born they can take that baby away if the baby tests positive at all. I hope you or who ever has stopped taking the coke, because of course it will harm the baby and even if the baby comes out ok. It will still be addicted to coke and If you (or whoever) couldn't kick the habit imagine being an infant addicted to the drug with no way of getting it. If you can't kick the habit, why are you forcing your child to?

Long enough for you to cause irreversible life treating damage to the baby in your body who never asked to be a drug addict before they even had a chance to be born. Is that a short enough time line for you???? And its a lot longer than normal your body is just storing that crap just like its storing water, vitamins, nutrients, and fat. I hope you get caught for using dope while pregnant, your not starting off as a very good mother. I feel soooo very sorry for that baby, that baby deserves better than what you are giving it right now. I hope you can put your addiction aside for good and give that baby some kind of chance at a normal life. Good luck (mostly to your baby)...

I don't know the answer but I do know that cocaine use early in a pregnancy increases your risk of miscarriage. It is important to disclose all information to your doctor. Good for you for quitting for the sake of the baby. Best of luck.

it would stay in your urine for 3 days, possibly a little longer in your bloodstream, drink a lot of water, if it is still early in your pregnancy dont be too worried , drug use in the later part of pregnancy is more detrimental. Congratulations

I am not sure that can ever be known. They don't really have tests subjects on the matter. Just please don't go back for the sake of your unborn child.
