I was once told that "Before you criticise someone you should walk a mile in their shoes, that way you're a mile away from them and you have their shoes".

To keep mouth shut, bowels open, and never volunteer

It was from my sister. She told me she was flying to where I was living at that time, and she advised me (actually INFORMED me) to drive with her back to her home and live with her until I got on my feet. I was going through an ugly divorce from an emotionally abusive man and my sister's advice to exercise "good self care" and wear my "possibility pants" have been constant reminders to me to LIVE what I am capable of instead of just hoping for or dreaming about it. As a result of her good advice, I am living back in my hometown in Southern California and I have custody of my 2 kids and live in a nice home. I am engaged again, to a wonderful man, and my life is good. I have been judged by well-meaning people, including family members, who have not walked in my shoes, as you say. My sister has tried on my shoes, has shared my burden, and has advised me well. I am a so much happier person because I took her advice!

Never regret the things you do...
It's the things you don't do that you will always regret.

Feel the fear and do it anyway.

Trust and believe in yourself and the universe, always listen to your gut feeling it will never lie to you, recycle only what you want to come back to you, never fear or what you fear is what you will receive, never judge or you will create that judgment onto yourself, and never take on other peoples fears or truths, words and thoughts create especially when they have belief behind them, take knowledge that serves you and go out and create your own truths!

Always try to do the right thing and you will have a clear conscience.

If you don't know what you're talking about, keep your mouth shut.

"May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find a way.
May you always have courage to take a chance.
And never find frogs in your underpants."

It's better to keep your mouth shut, and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
