What is up with its inability to do what is right . Take Exxon who has received billions in tax credits over the years and still has not paid for the damage the Valdez did to the Alaskan coast line and fisheries . You think that would be simple to address . It is after all only about money who gets it and who does not . Is anyone besides me unhappy about the share you have been getting of the pie . I have more then most and still am upset about how things are run . If you notice I do little work and post often on answers . Retired at 42 with plenty of money . I still see that opportunity comes from taking advantage of others and to a greater extent the people by the government and this could change if we wanted it to . I am not a student and do not rely on anyone else for my living . I did not win a lottery or a big bet . Hard work and sound investments .
But inflation is driven up when property, wages ,and interest rates rise .
I was not as irresponsible as the government .

So some guy nicknamed 'playstoofast' has determined that there's a complete lack of responsibility on the part of the government . Great . I'll be sure to refer to that person next time 'the government' makes a mistake .
Also, I used to work for an environmental clean-up company . And I personally know that EXXON did pay us a truckload of cash to help in that clean-up . They bought truckloads of our product and it worked great . Now if something else needs to be done, then post it . But your assumption has now been proven wrong .

EDIT* - Already at least 2 people have blamed Bush . Perhaps you should edit your question and inform them when the Exxon Valdez crashed . Unbelievable !!!!

Another example of an irresponsible government is when you vote to fund a war, and later say you regret it while our troops are in danger's way. Hillary Clinton did exactly that.

Until the "laws of accountability" are upheld by imposing huge penalties, for the lack of responsibility, there will be little shown, unless of course you're one of the many who believe the Government is actually going to police itself. Hahahahaha,,,Good one ....

How can you expect a President like Bush to have any responsibility whatsoever when he is a convicted drunk, a self admitted dope addict, a bankrupter of three companies, a man who illegally procured an abortion for a lady that was carrying his kid, a deserter, a father of two daughters who has raised them to be drunks and dope addicts, and a false Christian!

You are kidding right??????????????????
