i absoultely LOVE the name isabella! that does suite her, my friends little sister has blonde hair and blue eyes and her name is isabel, so yes i think it will.
also, i think if you get used to calling her bella then it will catch on with other people, but izzy would be better when shes younger, then bella when she gets older.

Isabella is a great name. I prefer the spelling with an s. It looks so much more feminine and classy, in my opinion.
You can definitely call her Bella but with her name she is definitely going to get tons of Izzy's! Izzy is cute too and it is great to have a special nickname that close friends and family call her.
Isabella is beautiful for an adult as well.
I like the combination with Rose too. When I think of a little girl with blonde hair and blue eyes I think of something lighter though...maybe Isabella Grace or Isabella Faith...
Congrats on your new baby girl! SD

Isabella is a good name and Bella is a cute nickname. It sounds great with the middle name chosen and in fact my sister wanted to use this name Isabella with Rose as well, but she never had a girl only 3 boys. As far as the nicknames are concerned let them call her what they all want, my kids all have seperate nicknames from each family member, it is ok too, they know their real names. Bella is a cute nickname and so is Izzy, I think that a gma has a right to have a seperate nickname. I call my daughter Baby Boo, but my Mom calls her Sweet Pea,my Dad calls her Sweetie Pies, my younger sister calls her Sausage, my brother calls her Sofro, and my older sister calls her Forkniece. These are all different and she is cool with it. She is now 8 years old and my new nickname for her is Staydes. There are many names that you will come up with on your own, and that is ok, so let everyone call them what they want. My nephew was in the womb and they found out he was gonna be a boy, so they were gonna name him after his dad, his dad was already a Jr. so my nephew was gonna be a Third, so they started calling him Three, and it stuck. We all call him Three and he is 5 years old now, but I also gave him the name Beaker. So it is fun.

I actually prefer Izabella (with this spelling). And Izabella Rose would be a very nice name to your blonde blue eyed daughter. Izzy sounds more fun than Bella, but you can always call her Bella and everyone else will call her Izzy. It will be more special.

That is a beautiful name. Ella is a good nickname, too. Bella will be like Bella-the-Ball I'm afraid. Actually I have a friend who's daughter is name Elizabeth and they call her Lizzy - except for my handicapped daughter who started calling her IZZY and it caught on for the family! It's OK to have more than one nickname for a kid. My spouse an I have separate nicknames - more than one - for each child. Just go with the flow where relatives are concerned. It's a great name and obviously they already love your child.

I love the name! I would stick with the traditional spelling though, Isabella is beautiful. As far as nicknames, trust me kids at school will call her Izzy AND Bella. I have a daughter named Victoria and she gets Vicki AND Tori. And I call her Victoria Lane when she is in trouble! Let your mother call her Izzy and you call her Bella! Good luck!

I love the name, I think it is beautiful! And I agree with you, I would definately be calling her Bella or Belle, but Izzy is cute too! And yea, more people could call her Izzy, but you can always call her Bella, and then it would become a special thing between you and her.
My son's name is Braedyn, and everyone calls him Brady (which I'm not that fond of), but I call him Brae or Brae-Brae, and that's a nickname that just between me and him, which I think is nice.
And as for the spelling of Isabella, I would definately use the "S" instead of the "Z"...I think it just looks better with the Rose having the "S"....and I think it looks better when written in cursive writting!

This is your child you have her nick named anything you want. If your mom wants to call her Izzy that's fine but only cause she's grandma, and special names from grandparents are endearing.
As far as Isabella Rose, I think it is a beautiful name for a blonde haired blue eyed girl.
I picked Audrey Isabella for my expected little one, my husband and I love the name Isabella.

my first daughter's name is isabella and she ended up looking a lot like her daddy, blonde hair and light colored eyes. i am the total opposite i have brunette hair and dark brown eyes. i perfer bella over izzy too. there are a few people that call her izzy and my husband calls her that at times. she has actually ended up with quite a few different nicknames, not all of them pertain to her name though. i mainly call her isabella, isabelle, belle and bella. . i have tried telling people that i didn't like them calling her izzy but they still do it anyways so i just gave up lol. so i just say call her what you perfer and except that there may be a few people that insist on calling her izzy. the nickname might end up growing on you over time like it is starting to do with me. good luck!!!

I think it is a beautiful name. Who said your baby couldn't have more than one nickname, besides you will be around her more chances are she will answer to your nickname better anyway. LOL I personally like Bella better than Izzy for a nickname.
