Would you like to belong to someone?

I am morally obligated to the people I love, my family. It makes me happy to make them happy. I want to belong to someone else, desperately. I want someone to depend on me being there. I want someone to wants to know who I am, because I am chosen as 'theirs.' Who doesn't want this? We will always belong to ourselves, we are the only ones who can choose to change and actually be ourselves.

Well the romantic in me wants to say that I belong to my beloved and that he belongs to me, but my practical, independent side says that I don't "belong" to anyone, except myself. I am not a possession. No one owns me & I am free to do as I choose.
Though the romantic in me does like the idea of "belonging" to someone, it's not healthy.

I belong to my beloved angel - spiritually, emotionally. But I'm not His property. I belong to Him and I am free. And that is the greatness of Love.

Yes we all belong to one god who created us we came from him that's why we all have to go back to him .
Life is just a passage we're we're all getting tested either you pass or you don't one of the test is " Do you belong to anyone? "
So choose the right answer if you want to pass the test.

i belong to this body i occupy and this mind that operates my movements inside and out. i belong to the blood streaming through my veins and the cells fighting to keep me alive and also the ones attempting to murder me. i belong to the bones which hold me upright and the muscles that give me strength... i belong to every inch of this world ... i even belong to my shadow and the slowly decaying plan we call time. But my soul (i) ultimately belongs to God.

No, I belong to no one and no one belongs to me. But I give my heart to my friends, family and pets as they also give me theirs.
