i had my hamsters claws clipped 1 month ago. now they hav all fallen out the vet doesnt understand it but i think something is wrong.

i have taken him to the vets and the vets said that they cant find anything wrong with him

I'm not real sure (I'm not a vet) but if your hamster is getting older I think that is something that occasionally happens. It's just a quirk. Also, in the worst case, it might be an infection because that sometimes happens to people, too.

I think that when the nails were cut, they were cut to short and exposed the quick (veins that "feed" the nails). The quick on a dog can be hard to see but I would think it would be nearly impossible on a hamster!

Since the quick was exposed, it could have easily gotten infected. An infection could make his nails fall out.

I suggest you get him into the vet because he'll need antibiotics.

You need to take the hamster to a vet. There is definitely something wrong.
