Four Teams.
After several years of running four fantasy teams; baseball and football both, I have found that a standard naming convention helps you keep them straight.
I use:
Texicans I
Texicans II
Texicans III
Texicans IV
Also, try to have a different angle for each team when drafting. I try to weight some teams more to pitching, some to defense/batting.
Enjoy, hope this helps.

The answer is 4 teams were allowed last year per user ID. I assume it will be the same this year. The year before you could have 4, but add more at the mid-season. Last year, I couldn't add more.

You can 4 under a particular game type. I had 4 free rotisserie teams last year.
For football I had 4 free teams under the draft system (not sure what they call that) and I had one team under the salary cap system. Didn't try to get more salary cap teams.

Yea, four teams. You can create another account though and have another four teams if you want. But i think managing 8 teams is crazy!
