Tribunal? Where do you think you are? The fomer USSR has tribunals, in the United States we have hearings. Perhaps you were dismissed because you are an idiot? Have you considered this? Now let's apply very simple logic to your question. If you make a claim, you have to prove your claim. You are the one making the claim, not the company/ organization that fired you. So you have to prove that when they seperated you from your job, that they did it for an illegal reason. Life is unfair my friend, if the company was unfair when they let you go- oh well. Get over it and move on. Perhaps if you were more valuable to the company, you would not have been let go. Examine your work ethic and what you brought to the table before you move on to the "tribunal".

As in almost all cases.. the charging party has to prove the claim.. If you charged unfair dismissal.. the burden of proof is on you.

its up to the company to prove that it was a fair and legal dismissal, if you contract citizens advice bureau they will advice you what your best options are. If it does to court and because you are bringing the company to court you will be billed for all legal costs but if you win the company will have have to pay up, the good news is most company do not want to have their name through the papers so they normally settle outside court
