You where they use to play music videos, daria and aeon flux. When they had real people on the "Real Wordl and Road Rules", not the generic people they have now. Who remebers when trl played the full song and not just 2 seconds. God I miss the old mtv.

oh god yes. i remember the good old days of yesteryear. they played at least 15-16 hours of music videos. they had kool video jockeys like nina blackwood, rikki rachtman, and downtown julie brown. also yo mtv raps was as the hip hoppers say" off the hook" lol. all these dating shows and real world shows bastardize mtv and vh1 too. thank goodness for satellite radio.

I remember and miss the Geriatric MTV when all they played was videos. Period.
That I do miss. Though Aeon Flux was cool.

Me too. I watched the very first video. I remember when you could watch MTV all day long and just see videos. I loved it so much. I even played hookie from school sometimes to stay home and watch.

That is why I like MTV2. They play more music and less crap. But then my stupid cable provider took it away. Hopefully eventually people will get sick of reality TV and we can have the old ways back.

I sure do. I think MTV was at its peek from 1987-1994. it all went downhill after that.
