If civilization was destroyed but you were left physically intact, how would you move forward with your life?

Are you aware of the close calls the world has had with nuclear war, or do you try to not think about it because it's too scary?

Even if there is a nuclear war, how would it affect me? I live in a rural area, I can woodwork, weld, use machine tools, shoot, and fly an airplane. Even if the country collapses, 90% of the infrastructure would remain. I might even be in a better position than I am now.

Sadly, I would have to lean toward very likely if not imminent. I do not believe however that a it will be a global nuclear war meaning that maybe 2 or 3 billion people would die but some countries would not be affected except for the global raditation increase and other indirect effects. If my civilization was destroyed but I survived (not very likely ...except in movies and dreams) I would rebuild it with a few modifications to hopefully prevent future meltdowns. (pun intended).
Its not a scary thought, I do not fear death. Very aware of the events happening all around us.

I think nuclear war is fairly likely in the next fifty years, but I think the greatest threat is from an accident, not an assualt.
