First of all I can do it at all times of the day or night. The downside is waiting for the stuff to arrive. You can just walk out with the stuff if you go to the mall. I find it interesting that some sales are only promoted on online, but you still have to go into the store, so it is a twist on the online shopping. I love getting something for shopping and the only real way is to do that online sometimes. Sure I have a credit card that gives me cash back when I buy, but I like finding those online deals that make me feel like I can justify buying the things I don't need. If you go to the fun money section in the site listed below, the second listing down is a cool rebates site for online shopping. I use it and every little bit helps

Advantages: No standing in line, being able to buy items that aren't available where you live, international goodies, shopping at 2 a.m., no pushy salespeople, making embarrassing purchases without getting embarrassed.
Disadvantages: Waiting for your item to arrive, size/fit issues, paying shipping, pop-up ads.
Over all I'd say the advantages out-weigh the disadvantages.

cheapness
you can get it delivered to you
you can find almost anthing on ebay
lazy shits dont have to get off there arses and walk about shops
to find what there looking for
disadvantages -
people can con you into buying somthing you pay them by card
and they dont send u your item
people can sell you stolen goods so u get in trouble
you can buy somthing and find that it is broken

Advantages...no traffic jams...no waiting in lines...not having to go out in inclement weather...not risking being robbed or worse...no having to deal with rude people or cashiers...no crowded stores
Disadvantages...waiting for delivery
