What's wrong with Nicole Richie? Why is she so skinny?

Doesn't any1 else worry about that poor girl? I mean, she looks like she's dying! I know I don't know her, but I'm scared for her! She's down to about 85 lbs. now at 5'2! If she gets skinnier and skinnier she will eventually die! Are those magazines (such as Star, Life and Style) photo-shopping those pics of her? Or is she really that freaking skinny? Just looking at her I feel like I'm going to faint!

Maybe you should quit worrying about her. She doesnt necessarily have an eating disorder. I dont and Im 5'4" and I currently weigh about 86 lbs.

I have always been skinny and times of severe stress causes me to lose weight in the double digits. My doctor has me on Megace ES to stimulate apetite and I eat like a horse. Some people (although rare apparently) just have very high metabolisms. She probably does eat but having to be under a freaking MICROSCOPE every day probably contributed to her drug and drinking problems and certainly isnt helping her apetite.

I get so tired of the comments from people all the time. they dont even realize its RUDE to comment on something like that. Ask yourself this: would you ever go up to a fat person and say? YOUR SO FAT! IS ALL YOU DO IS EAT?

No. of course you wouldnt. But funny, the nasty (fat) women at my office have to comment on what I eat and if I eat every time I sit at the lunch table to the point of my eating my lunch alone at a restaurant every day. She CANT HELP IT. its stress.

Sorry for the tirade. Its just so annoying that people cant understand that you cant just EAT and fix it. Your body controls what you do or do not burn off not you.

i think the hollywood pressure of being thin is like being beautiful too hard. i mean i think it would be for her especially since people are looking at you all the time even when you think you have a moment to yourself. i mean even ordinary people put a lot of pressure on themselves, especially weight. with the whole looking good, staying skinny, and being fit.

i dont really worry bout her because that is her decision on whether or not she wants to be anorexic. She probabaly knows if she keeps getting skinnier that she will eventually die. if she is happy with her body there is nothing we can do about that

Uhh, she's a cokehead that's why. Have you not seen the old leaked pics this week of her with her face all up in some powder. That's why she is so skinny. She doesn't eat because she's not hungry.

well hun dont worry its just cuz she doesn't eat she is anorex so thats her problem but magazines have said they think she is putting the weight back on so no need to worry :)

honestly why would you care? its none of anyone's business what nicole does with herself. if she loved herself enough she would change her lifestyle, why care about someone like that?there are so much more important things to worry about rather than focus on 1 person's wieght. honestly, who gives a damn.

She addicted to drugs...coke and herion. It speed up your metabolism and doesnt make you very hungry. Her father has tried everything to help her, but there is only so much someone can do for their twenty something year old daughter.

i have no sympathy for her she made her best friend a toothbrush thats her problem, if shes too stupid not to eat and starve herself then thats her fault, those around her who apparently 'care' for her should be supporting her and gettin her into rehab not hanging around shouting at the media for making her look skinny.

she doesnt eat. i dont feel sorry for her bc of that. she has plenty of options with all the money she and her dad have. there are tons of groups and centers she could go to for help. and yes she really is that skinny

She is ANOREXIC. Happens to the best of 'em in Hollywood. She was so cute before!
