Honestly, you have to go down and just try a bunch on. That is what I have to do when I go to get mine. Face shape and all of that are not really what you need to go by. Just go by how well they look on you. Mine are the kind with lenses that darken in the sun and lighten up when I come back inside. They are thin silver frames too, so they are the best for me. I like then silver colored frames because they aren't too noticeable. Trying them on yourself is the best way to go. If you want a really honest opinion take someone with you, like your little sister or someone! Take someone who isn't afraid to tell you when you look like crap! :) Best friends will tend to be "nice" and say that it looks good when it really isn't that great.

Where are do you plan on purchasing your glasses? If it's with your optomitrist, then have someone there help you decide. They specialize in what frames are best for what your attributes are........if not, take someone with you that you trust what they tell you........or, just try on many pairs and find which makes you feel good.

I think a plastic thick frame would be cute! I have contacts but i used to wear glasses but get something that compliments your face......

When you go to get glasses they'll usually let you try a bunch on, so decide what you like best.
