i am developing a software and i need to control scanner. where i can found some source to help me? also what is windowows\system32\twain.dll?

TWAIN is an acronym describing how scanners, cameras, etc. communicate with your computer.

Below is a sample describing what you need to do.

Dunno if Yahoo! has an equivalent, but Google Code search will probably have some examples for you.

Also check out Win32 APIs, there's probably a scanner-interface somewhere in there.
