my b/f hasnt really had good parents as he was growing up so he missed a lot of important thing you should learn, now i feel lik i have to be his mother somtimes when it comes to money and his health...does anyone else feel like this

yeh!!!!!! he never eats healthy.. my bf's parents dont really eat veg or anything like that so he doesnt like veg and wont try it.. i have to tell him that its good for him and it will do him good to eat it..

Well, I think that in terms of taking care of themselves, their health etc....all guys tend to lean on their girlfriends a bit much. Either they are grateful for the attention, someone finally looking after them, (bad family life) or they are used to it from their (good)families and take it for granted. And then they wonder why you are annoyed all the time when you feel as if you are living with a teenager rather than a mate. Not very fun.
I once leaned on a boy I loved too hard as I was pretty young and dealing with a lot of issues...my family was a mess growing up. It eventually took it's toll on the relationship, which was pretty sad as I really loved him. I didn't know that I was putting so much pressure on him.
Good luck, and try to ween him of his dependence carefully. People who have never been able to rely on anyone don't know the rules really. He probably doesn't realize the strain he is putting on you and the relationship. You are probably the one normal ad decent relationship that he has. Which is way too much pressure! But he means well.

As far as him making good decisions and stuff like that I know he's very capable.When it comes to cleaning up after him,and having to remind him to do things,yes I do sometimes feel like a nagging mother!

Most women feel this way, about their husbands (but not in a bad way) We just have a way we like it, and well sense (i think at least) they cant go 1 day without getting "it". They just say "OK, honey sure thing, ill get right on that, can we have sex now?"

well when your going with sum one your gonna care for
just like the way your parents would care for you.
you try your best to keep them out of trouble.
and show them the best thing in life.
so in a way you do but then again..you really dont?
your just either taking car of your b/f or g/f in a way.

I realize that when I am being like that I am being a jerk. Nothing worse than thinking I know what somone else should have experinced.

Yes, everyday; from laying his clothes out, to fixing him dinner, to telling him who to call, what to pay etc!!!! I"M TIRED OF BABYSITTING!!!!
