Question about my cell phone?

I have a Samsung phone and use Cingular. The icon for voice mail will not come off even though I have no voice mails. I've tried turning the phone off and taking the battery out, but it's still there. Any suggestions?

Firstly, go onto the voicemail and check if you have any saved messages, if so delete them.

If that doesn't work, try leaving yourself a voicemail then go on and delete it.

If that still doesn't work, phone customer services - it's not a problem with your phone, the network is telling your phone to display the icon.
