Has anyone on here got one of the new Freelanders? What do you think of it, is it as good as it looks?

Sorry Professor, that doesn't answer the question. From what I've read It's a very good vehicle, not as capable off road as the other Landrovers, but will tow a caravan or other trailer very well. Just wanted to hear from some one who has one.

Old Freelanders had a poor reputation, mechanical failures,expensive repairs, engine problems etc. I guess buying a new one is a triumph of hope over experience.

It is not a utility four x four as a true Landrover is. It has no secondary gearbox so won't tackle much off road stuff. It won't tow as it isn't sufficiently heavy. Its through and through a posers vehicle
