A 4% chance of conceiving means that out of 100 months (over 8 years) you would conceive in 4 of them. So you have roughly one chance every 2 years.
That's not great odds I'm afraid. Are you in the UK? You can get IVF on the NHS.

the fact you have a child already is a good sign becaue it means you can get pregnant, a lot of women with pcos are worried that they wont ever have children but you will. its just harder for some people and there are a lot of factors to consider such as weight, lifestyle and the particular time of trying for a baby. i have pcos i was diagnosed at 17/18 along with other fertility problems and i was so scared id never have kids because i didnt properly understand it although it was a relief to finally know what the problem was. my periods would now and again regulate themselves then become irregular again, but when we started ttc they became irregular and i fell pregnant that same month of ttc naturally without meds. we were so shocked and still are a bit even though my baby is now 4 1/2 months old. it will happen, just be patient and give yourself time and dont put yourself under pressure because stress makes it even harder. if you do need meds then there is still the opportunities for you to have more children, but i dont think you have anything to worry about as you have already had a child naturally. good luck.

My husband and I took over a year to concieve, which sucks because we have nothing wrong with us... just lack of luck i guess. I started charting using http://www.mymonthlycycle.com and found out that i was counting my days wrong... i have a 30 day cycle with a 16 day leutal phase instead of the standard 28 and 14 days. Doh! Now I know I guess, but yea... 2 months after finding that out i got my timing down and e got pregnant.

4 % is pretty low, I think you would need the IVF. I mean you can continue trying but I think w/ the low percentage is going to be very hard to get preg. Good luck

Start by charting your own female cycle. If his conception chances are down around four percent, your best bet is to match your peak ovulation time to him.
In addition, he might want to "hold off" for a while to let his own count rise.

probably a few years . i would really start taking your temperature everyday to know exactly when you ovulate to really increase your chances. You need to really understand your cycle. Good luck!!!
