It sounds like you have had someone in your life that told you were not good enough. That or you have unaccomplished goals that you have set for yourself. Tell that voice to take a hike. You have done something pretty miraculous just by having healthy kids. If there is something that you've not achieved, then go for it when the opportunity presents it's self. Take a high school refresher course. Learn a new trade at home, on line. You're not dead because you have kids. And finally, don't set your sights too high. Set your new goals where they can be accomplished a little at a time.

There maybe two problems here self esteem or children who don't play the game.
Self esteem
Join a community group, doing something for the environment/wildlife you'll meet some new people, who might be older than you're usual friends but will be glad to see you.
Troublesome kids
Not sure why you don't think you're good or smart enough for your children or how old they are? If they're preteenagers just tell them you love them and sit down as a family at the dining table at least for dinner, do the washing up together, set sensible rules. If you've got teenagers it might be more tricky, but the same principles apply, if needs be try to bring in the other parent. for support. This worked for me and I wasn't the best behaved child you could hope for but we are all now a very close family.

Sometimes we spend comparing ourselves to extraordinary people. The reality is no one has all of the answers. The best that any parent can do is to raise moral, thoughtful, and safe children. Your children will always see the good in you.
As a child I scored very high on standardized tests. I though my parents were the smartest people in the world. I still do.

.. spend time with your kids... n spend quality time.. dont only play with them but talk to them about things..share things you all do..
This way you would be able to communicate better with your kids and this will make them feel good.. n when they'll reward back with positivity you will start feeling confident.
All The Best ! :-)

No matter how much you think you are good enough there is always someone who will find something about you thats great. Everyone has a great quality about them. Im sure your children love you no matter what because you are their mother. Dont ever think otherwise.
