Ok..first of all, just be yourself!People like you for who you are.But if they don't, then they are not really your friends! Don't stress. Just relax and go up to someone and start a conversation! Introduce yourself and see if you have anything in common. Once you have made a friend, you will start to feel comfortable around an unfamiliar area. Then you will start making more and more friends. Just take a deep breath, close your eyes and then walk up to a person and start a conversation.
Try to get involved.Volenteer, get a job somewhere local, or get involved with sports. Find something you enjoy, then stick with it. By doing something you enjoy, you are sure to meet new people that like the same things as you!
Making new friends can be hard sometimes, but follow my advice and your sure to meet lots of new friends!
:)

Join a club or try something new - to meet new types of people. Have you got neighbours? You could try going round there to have a chat, I am sure they will be friendly and invite you in maybe lol. Just generally say hi when yhou go out and mention that you are new to the area! I am sure you will have friends in no time! And remember to keep in touch with your old friends because they will give you confidence and help you make friends in your new area. Hope I have helped :) xxx

Well maybe go to the nearest house in your neighbourhood and introduce yourself. This will make a good impression and will show your a very nice person. Maybe getting to know these people, they will introduce you to the other neighbours and then so on. Maybe you can even throw a small party, like a house warming party. This would give you the chance to mingle and get to know everyone. Hope this helps.

Try to be as open as possible. At lunch find a table with girls who look nice and ask if you can sit with them. Once you start talking you'll see if you guys could be friends. If not the next day u can always go to a new table. Dont worry youll have plenty of friends in no time!

Get involved in activities around you area. Go out, go to bookstores, coffee stores, the gym. Try to strike a conversation with people, don't be shy. You can also try making friends with the people you work with, or your neighbors.
Good luck!
