it'not an incorrect plug-in problem or screen savor setup thing.
as far as i'm working with mouse or keyboard, things're working ok, but it freezes right away when it idles even if the time lasts very short period. mouse pointer's not moving at all and keyboard's not functioning at all. any idea why?

If they are wireless - click the mouse button and press a key then they will re - activate

If they are USB - ensure they are plugged in correctly, into the correct port and that you are using a 2.0 Usb port.

If they are 6 pin, again ensure thay are plugged in correctly.

I also suggest you go through the Device manager trouble shoot via control panel, to enure the devices are working.

You need to set you screen saver (OS, hard drive) option longer than one minute.
Right click on desktop -> properties -> Screen Saver -> Power

(sorry, I don't have Windows OS with me now)
