Hey now I take that one to answer to offensive. I'm not prunny and shrivled up i'm just dead weight Mr. Wanger. No it wouldn't be indentifiable. Yes there still would be some skin hanging off the skull and bones. Yes the clothes would still be there. Yes the casket would be in good shape. It would have some dents in it but it would be in good shape.

I agree with the funeral director. It would be based on the enviroment, casket type of interrment.SO many factors come into play.Couple of years ago I was watch a program about medical examiners.I believe they had this one examiner who is considerated a leading pathologist in world He worked in New York.He was asked on His opinion of the JFK autopsy. He said it had a lot of missing elements and documentation. He was doing a case Malcome X and when they opened His casket. They showed Him looked like He had only been deceased maybe a year or less. His suit of course was falling apart. And his skin other than very light dark spots was intact and looked natural.I believe he was killed in 1963 or earlier.Perfect job of embalming.

It can takes decades, as there are many factors that affect the rate of decomposition, such as how well the person was embalmed, what type of casket and vault they are in, the surrounding climate and so on. I have seen people that have been dead for decades that look fine, and some that were completely decomposed. There are too many factors that affect the rate of decomposition to give a definitive answer to your question.

For the decent hard-working people in our society everything is more fast-paced than it was a few decades ago but for the lazy bums not prepared to get out of bed in a morning (and do anything decent with their lives and to help humanity) nothing much has changed. They still think they deserve all that life has to offer and they want it on a plate - all earned by someone else who struggles to cope in this fast-paced world.

i saw a man dug up that had been dead for 50 years, and i swear he looked like he died yesterday.he was in great shape.i think the region where you are buried and the coffin and crypt all make a big difference.where i live they just throw them in the ground.but you are suppose to not detereate for at least 100 years,IF properly embalmed and buried correctly.

All depends on the embalmer and the merchandise purchased.....Water in fact is the best preservative.....if the body is embalmed and sits in nice ice cold water it would look pretty good after years.

They would look lifeless, and comatose. They would really look to be in GRAVE condition. Their clothing would be way out of style, and they would have an AIR about them.
