not a dictionary definition, but what is beautiful to you? Is there such a thing as beautiful, or is it simply a standard too high to reach?
I mean we all see NICE things, attractive things, pretty etc......
but what did you see/hear/other that is Beautiful?
Or maybe you never have?

Mountain Views.
Fresh flowers.
tiny kittens and puppies.
A 'thank you' or a 'hello' can be beautiful.
I think Thai food is beautiful too - yummy

Beauty is only skin deep as the saying goes. But I am sure a man is more attracted to a beautiful woman before her plain sister. Its a shame but thats what happens. To be really beaultiful you have to have a kind heart, listen to others and help whenever - I would imagine a plain girl with a good heart has more friends than any celeb. Maybe that is the standard we should all apply. And you will find that person some day.

To me, beauty is goodness. A woman who has a kind and loving heart, who is good and is sweet, is a beautiful woman - even if outwardly, she is not pleasant to look at.
A movie or book that tells a story of good triumphing over evil, or where others persevere in the face of great obstacles - this to me is a beautiful story.
When someone gives to someone else even though they are not in a position to give, they are behaving in a beautiful way.
Every single child on this planet is beautiful.
An innocent soul, untouched by hatred, bitterness, bigotry or spite, is a beautiful thing.
People born with Down's Syndrome are beautiful. My brother was beautiful. He had a beautiful spirit because of his innocent soul.
Beauty, to me, is goodness.

I believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder; I don't mean just physical beauty, but inner beauty as well. I find nature, people with great spirits and hearts, and even meaningful music to be beautiful. Beauty doesn't just exist in people, it exists in the entire world!!!

Beautiful to me is the sight of my four year old son's smile, waking up to see a world blanketed in snow, my son's laugh. I find the most simple things on life are the most beautiful because they cause nothing but pleasure.

I agree, beautiful can not be defined in a dictionary or by any one person. If you ask me personally, beautiful to me evokes a feeling, something that touches you where nothing else ever can.

Having my house rebuilt and being reunited with my family in New Orleans at the Monday night Football game, welcoming the Saints back into the dome......that was beautiful!!!
