I have several true friends! I guess I am really lucky!
My best friend H is truly the best! We have been through thick and thin together! I know that she is the one person that I can turn to when I feel like ther is no one else that will understand!
I think that every one should have at least one of those types of relationships!

Well, in my opinion, the biggest things that are required for a "true" friendship are: love, trust and a GREAT sense of humor. Love is obvious (as you are obviously less likely to be a friend to someone who doesn't love you for the person you are). You have to be able to trust your friend with many things. It helps to create a better environment when the two of you are around each other. Sense of humor is for when you have squabbles. It can be quite difficult to not be, to put it simply, offended when you or your friend doesn't have a sense of humor to put everything in perspective. Hope this helps!

I have a best friend, we have been friends for 30 years ( met in kindergarten) We can tell each other anything without judgment, we respect each other and even though we don't talk to each other every day, each one of us knows that the other is there for them, when we need them. She is someone whom I trust with my children, my family and is a person who's opinion I trust.

My true friend is my sister
She knows all my secrets
And she knows how I am
And I know that since shes my sister
She wont dog me out!
But mainly because your sister is your friend till the end

I had a true friend who betrayed me by telling my girl friend lies that weren't true and she broke up and wanted him, so no I have no true friends, I don't have friends any more only acquaintances.
