I e-filed my taxes today. Then an hour later in the mail I got a W-2 from a temp job I did, a total of some 40 bucks. Is this a big deal? Is there any way to report this extra money on taxes I've already e-submitted?

No - you would need to file an amended reutrn to account for the difference.

It's a big deal! You have to amend your return. If they sent you a W-2 that means the feds have that info too and they will come calling - beside, you should be honest.

They won't bother with $40, most likely. Or they will automatically send you an adjustment notice for $40 * your tax rate = $10 or so.

If you have found that you are in error or received a later mailed w2 , just file a 1040x. They are as easy as a 1040ez.
