Oh, please, don't lie, that's the worse thing you can do. Try to spice it up with action words and accomplishments; things that you are especially proud of. You can do some research to see what employers are looking for these days, and it's not necessarily a chronology of your work history. Look at the job vacancy announcement and tailor your resume to the job that you are interested in and that you think you qualify for. In other words, every time you apply for a job, prepare a new resume that fits the job. I think Word has some resume formats. Also go to the US Dept. of Labor web site for some help. www.dol.gov. Good luck. Your resume is what you make it, but be honest.

You might want to reword some of the bad things, so they sound more like good things. They do this all the time in lease contracts, infomercials, advertising, etc. I don't see why it wouldn't work on a resume.

Get a friend or teacher to look over it and fix it up. You could also have a professional resume writer rewrite it for a fee.

Depending on the job your planning on getting add some of your qualities and talents. Maybe add some volunteer work or curricular activities.

I would search or other people's resumes that are posted online and CUT and PASTE their credentials and edit them so they apply to you ... that's what I did ... and now I make over 45K!! YAY!

Lie about stuff. Say you worked for the CIA or you were a professional soccer player in France.

Go to the library and get a template....type your info over it and use some of there ideas and terminology
