how much would it cost to have it repaired? could i do it my self

The cheapest way to fix it would be to find the parts in a salvage yard on a car the same color. That way all you have to do is swap parts, no painting required. Around here I could probably find those parts for about $300-$400. Way cheaper than getting another car. If you are an experienced mechanic, the job woud be easy, could be done in a day. For someone who has never worked on a car forget it, buy the parts and find someone who knows what they are doing and pay them to install them.

hate to tell u this but your insurance company will total the car out
but befor u go and junk it you can still fix it try finding a door and axle in the junk yard alot of body shops ack funny about fixing older cars

The insurance company will total it. The value of the car is less than it cost fix it.

a 96 in good condition is not worth much...junk it before it sucks your checkbook dry
