I'm in grade 12 and I want to take calculus again to upgrade my mark. The first time I did it in day school i passed; however, my mark wasn't all that great. I need to take it again in order to get a mark that will hopefully get me into the program I want to get into. I have the option of taking night school or online school. Both have pros/cons. The only school that is available for night school is a good 15 minutes away from my house...which I find tedious. People keep telling me that I should just take night school despite the distance factor, because online school for calc is hard.

Has anyone ever taken online calc before? If so, how did you find it? Was it extremely difficult? And also, how difficult do you think it would be if I had a tutor??

Not totally take; but I saw a video on the youtube(what a site) and they really solved my problems just before my final exam.
solve@midnighttutor.com that is their e-mail address and they can solve your problem immediately. And also http://www.midnighttutor.com/ this is their e-mail address which is I sent to you just a look and experience. If you find it useful, you should enroll an on-line calculus course. By the contribution of that site I've a B+ in my freshman year in university. The best thing for this site is, they can solve your question and they will send a video which includes the solution of your question.

You should experience it by yourself; but if you want my personal idea, just buy a well-organized Calculus book and study by yourself. If you like or find the site useful, you should try it.

I never did much pre-calculus so I can't really say, but I did calculus 1, 2 and 3 in high-school. I found 1 and 2 relatively easy and 3 was a bit more challenging, but not too bad.

I took calculus course on line and it wasn't really good. the online course basically shows u a video on how to solve equations, although sometimes one can not understand how the answer was obtained, and other math problems. eventhough u will be assigned an online instructor, it will not really help u. i'm really good in math, but this online course bought my grade down a lot.

its better to take a class with an instructor, cuz if u need any help they'll be right there. if u take the online corse u won't have any one to explain u the steps of certain equations. unless ur really good in calculus.
well if u had a tutor, then probably u will do fine in the online course. otherwise i would recommend u to take the night class in ur school.
however it all depends on ur way of study. if u think u'll do good on the online course, then go for it, otherwise take the school course.

Sounds like youve already taken it once. Take the online one cause you already now whats going on. The second time around a lot of it actually makes some sense.

It all depends on the way you learn. Do you need someone to verbally go through steps?
