Your baby still has lots of room in there, somedays he/she will move and kick like a little monster than yes u might not be able to feel him/her for another day or so...As u get further along the kicks will become more pronounced and frequent..try lying on your side or sitting still after eating and see if he/she kicks..If it is only even 1 time your baby is fine..u still have a little ways to go..good luck!

Your baby is sleeping! My first child was definetly WILD from the beginning. She would kick for 1/2 an hour at a time, and then suddenly stop.

pretty early to feel the baby all the time I don't believe I felt my son until I was 22 weeks then from there until now 37 weeks I feel him all the time its best by your 5 month to count any movements or kicks and to have at least 10 in a hour if not then you would let your doctor know.

This early you may not feel them every day, I am almost 24 weeks and I have been feeling my little guy move every day for a few weeks. On days where I move around alot, I do not feel him all day(people say he is rocked to sleep) and then other days he kicks on and off. They sleep in the womb just like they do when they get here.

Baby is sleeping, or resting. A lot of the time the baby is moving while you are asleep so you don't feel it. When you are up moving around the baby sleeps because it creates a rocking motion in the womb.

I really depends on where in your uterus the baby is at any time. Nature gives us a lot of padding between the baby and the outside during during pregnancy (thanks a lot, nature) and sometimes the kid will move more towards your back so you won't feel them moving around. Trust me, once they get bigger and there isn't anywhere else for them to migrate to, you will feel them all the time. If you really are concerned about it, call your OB and they can hook you up to the monitors to get a kick count.

The baby is sleeping and it is normal. When I was pregnant it happened all the time. My Dr put it to me like this: The baby gets tired and needs sleep and other times the baby is active and wants to move around. Some days they deel diffrent than others.

at 17 weeks the baby can still turn acrobatics and therefor you may not feel all the kicks cause they may be inward instead of outward. Also the baby may have fallen asleep or is having a relax day...they do that just like us.

This is quite normal. As the pregnancy progresses you will feel the baby moving a lot more. Perhaps at this point you are not feeling the normal movements, just the heavy duty exercise or soccer practices of your unborn.

Congratulations!

At this point, you shouldn't be able to feel the baby move. It's possible that what you've been feeling is gas and a settling uterus. At this point, your uterus has a lot of changing to do. When you get to 24 weeks, that is when you should start you definitely feel the baby move. At that point, you should start worrying about no movement for 48 hours.
